OMEGA runs a Best Practice Forum to improve workplace practice around the recruitment, integration and retention of skilled immigrants.

The forum comprises OMEGA’s business partners and meets quarterly to discuss issues of immigration, skills development and labour market integration. Participation is by invitation.

Forum participants share challenges, opportunities, ideas and practical initiatives in recruitment, integration and retention and are able to incorporate findings into HR policies in their own places of work.  

OMEGA is also a member of the international best practice initiative of Cities of Migration, an international project to showcase good practice in the integration of urban immigrants, and to promote innovative ideas that create equity, social cohesion and urban prosperity.
